Coronado Bonfire

Jennifer surprised the heck out of me when she suggested that we take the girls grunion hunting. We invited the Gendreaus and we all decided to have a bonfire too. We met at a small public park in Coronado on the Glorietta Bay; it was great, we relaxed around the fire, roasted marshmallows and had smores.

We packed up at about 10:30 pm and headed to the Coronado Shores beach. Although we didn't see any grunion come up to spawn, we met some people on the beach who were lucky enough to catch a few. In a little white pale of ocean water, the kids were able see there very first grunion.
