Audrey just finished her first season of softball. She played Fall ball, which is kinda like a practice league, where girls can work on new skills or in Audrey's case learn the basics of the game.

Jennifer surprised the heck out of me when she suggested that we take the girls grunion hunting. We invited the Gendreaus and we all decided to have a bonfire too. Today, Audrey had her Junior Olympics competition at school. She chose to compete in 3 events: tug-of-war, 100 yard relay and 220 yard endurance race. It was an exciting day for Audrey. Both Al and I were able to see Audrey win 2 first place ribbons in the tug-of-war & 100 yard relay and she placed 2nd in the 220 endurance run. She was a great competitor and we are proud of her

Audrey participated in her first swim meet today! Being a little nervous, she had a rough start during warm ups. Fortunately, Audrey quickly regained confidence after a reassuring talk with Coach Sue. Audrey swam in three events: 50 yard freestyle; 50 yard backstroke; and 100 yard relay. Today Julia and I went to see the Wiggles in concert at the I Pay One Arena (that's the Sports Arena) with our friends Heidi and Makayla. We had so much fun! Today we celebrated Julia's 3rd birthday at a really fun place. Pump It Up is a kid's paradise. It is an arena filled with giant inflatables that both kids and adults can jump on for hours. Needless to say, everyone had an exciting time. Julia had a blast and we can't wait to go back there again!
